Dr. Nofan Mansour Ajarmeh is the co-founder and attorney at law at Gedara law firm, and is a Professor of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Jordan, where he has served since 2005. He holds a Ph.D. in Administrative Law from Ein Shams University in the Arab Republic of Egypt, a Master’s degree in Law from Al al-Bayt University in Jordan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Mutah University.

Dr. Ajarmeh has held several high-ranking positions, most notably serving as President of the Legislation and Opinion Bureau from 2013 to 2019, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, and Minister of Political Affairs during 2012–2013.

He is recognized as one of Jordan’s foremost legal experts in the field of legislative drafting and lawmaking. During his tenure as President of the Legislation and Opinion Bureau, he oversaw the preparation and drafting of numerous administrative, economic, and political legislations that structured and regulated the functioning of state institutions.

These included laws, bylaws, and regulations that established the foundations of governance, transparency, and administrative and economic organization in Jordan. He also played a pivotal role in modernizing legislative methodologies and aligning legal frameworks with the Jordanian Constitution and international standards.

Dr. Ajarmeh’s expertise is widely regarded as a key reference in the art of legislative drafting and legal analysis, distinguished by his ability to balance the legal and political dimensions of legislation and to craft legal texts with precision and clarity that effectively achieve their legislative objectives.

In addition to his legislative experience, Dr. Ajarmeh has extensive expertise in administrative and civil litigation, as well as in legal matters related to telecommunications, banking, social security, aviation, and tourism investment (hotels). He has served as a member of the Boards of Directors of Safwa Islamic Bank, Royal Jordanian Airlines, Jordan Post Company, the Social Security Investment Council, and the National Company for Tourism Development (owner of a group of hotels). He previously worked as an attorney and Head of the Legal Department at the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission.

Dr. Ajarmeh has published several research papers in internationally peer-reviewed journals in the field of administrative law, as well as numerous legal articles in Jordanian newspapers.

Dr. Qais Ali Mahafzah is the co-founder and attorney at law at Gedara law firm, and is a Professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Jordan, where he has served since 2002. He holds a Ph.D. in Maritime Commercial Law from Durham University (United Kingdom), LL.M. in Commercial Law from Aberdeen University (United Kingdom), Diploma in Trade Policy and Multi-Lateral Trading Systems from the World Trade Organization and the Arab Monetary Fund (WTO/AMF), and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Jordan.

Dr. Mahafzah has held numerous distinguished academic and professional positions. He currently serves as a member of the Boards of Directors of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company P.L.C., the Jordan India Fertilizer Management Company, the Competition Affairs Committee at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Advanced Technology for Financial Services Company. Previously, he served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Jordan, a member of the Board of Trustees of Jordan University of Science and Technology, a member of the Editorial Board of Dirasat: Shari’a and Law Sciences Journal published by the University of Jordan, a member of the Editorial Board of Jordan Journal of Law and Political Science at Mutah University, and a member of the Boards of Directors of the Social Security Investment Fund, the Judicial Institute of Jordan, and Jordan Post Company.

Notably, Dr. Mahafzah chaired the Committee for the Amendment of the Jordanian Maritime Law from 2011 to 2013, where he supervised the legal drafting and modernization of the law’s provisions to ensure their alignment with international standards governing maritime transport and commercial trade.

Dr. Mahafzah possesses extensive legal experience spanning many years in commercial and transportation law (maritime, land, and air), in addition to his advanced expertise in corporate law, foreign investment, and commercial arbitration – both as an arbitrator and practicing attorney. He also has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating local and international contracts and agreements, as well as providing specialized legal consultations across various sectors.

He has published numerous peer-reviewed research papers in international academic journals in both Arabic and English, addressing diverse topics in commercial law, in addition to a series of analytical articles published in Jordanian newspapers in both languages, focusing on the realities and challenges of the transportation sector in Jordan.

Dr. Mohamed Taha Al-Flaieh is the co-founder and attorney at law at Gedara law firm, and is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at the Middle East University in Jordan since 2021 – till present. He holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Law – University of Ein Shams in the Arab Republic of Egypt, a Master’s Degree in Public Law from Middle East University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Al-Isra’ University. He has been practicing law since 1999 and has an extensive experience in various legal and commercial cases, such as; commercial papers in its variety, as well as administrative disputes especially related to universities, and penal cases mostly cash-flow crimes, such as fraud, credit abuse and cases of cheque issuance that are linked to accounts without enough balance. Apart from real estate issues related to property disputes, the removal of common property, rent and lease, as well as issues related to acquisitions, development, construction, finance, operation, leasing and disposal of real estate; as he has been a legal / real estate expert since 2003.

He has worked as a legal consultant for many telecommunication companies, gaining extensive experience in communication cases and everything related to telecommunication law, as well as its related regulations and by-laws. He has an extensive experience in bankruptcy and liquidation cases, as he worked as a liquidator for many trading companies, including Xpress Communications Company.

Moreover, he has published several articles in international refereed journals in both Arabic and English related to various criminal and commercial fields.

Eng. Mohammad Mehyar is an expert Associate at Gedara law firm who holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology – University of Irving (Dallas, Texas). He has extensive experience in technical and procedural matters related to telecommunications, which contributes significantly to solving the telecommunication issues through his extensive experience and contribution to help the clients who owns telecommunication companies to manage their business and obtain the necessary licenses for them to be able to work and support their projects.

Ms. Nadeen Moris Abawi is attorney at law at Gedara law firm, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Jordan (rating: Very good). She is characterized by her excellent command of the English language, which has played a major role in her participation six times in the William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna-Austria, thereby gaining experience in the UNCITRAL Arbitration rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). She has experience in various commercial, civil, labor, criminal cases, and arbitration. Currently, she is completing her Ph.D. in Arbitration at Cairo University in Egypt.
